Emily Deacock – Five at Sea

Originally from Hampshire, Emily is a British artist on the move. She has spent the last few years living in Barcelona and Sydney, drawn to the natural beauty, outdoor culture, and relaxed pace of life by the sea – the main inspiration behind her paintings.

She is predominately self-taught and works with a range of mediums including watercolour, acrylic, and oil. She is interested in distinctive perspectives and striking colours, that she combines to create contemporary compositions.
In her paintings, she seeks to capture the meditative quality of the water and communicate the sense of escapism that it offers.
