Jennie Ing is a London-based printmaker. Her work focuses on the urban environment of London and features the places that she knows and loves the best.
Jennie’s work is inspired by her interest in architecture. She is fascinated by the way space is occupied in our cities. Add to this the colours, repetitions, and patterns found in the built environment.
Jennie works with relief print and she loves the hands-on process of cutting away areas from a flat piece of lino. She then applies ink to what remains and then prints from this onto paper, using her Victorian Albion letterpress.
