Catherine Ingleby’s childhood was divided between a farm in the Scottish highlands and a boat somewhere on the open water. She credits this unconventional upbringing with giving her confidence to follow an alternative career. She studied art in Paris and Florence, and completed a BA Hons degree in Fine Arts at Durham University. Catherine has scribbled since she could hold a pencil and never faltered in her ambition to be an artist. She is now widely recognised for her dynamic and colourful paintings of animals, both domestic and wild. She is represented by several galleries across the UK, and in the US.
