Jennie Ing

London-based printmaker Jennie Ing’s work mainly features the urban environment of London and the places she knows and loves best. Her interest in architecture and a fascination with the way space is taken up in our cities has inspired these pieces, as well as the colours, repetitions,  and patterns found in the built environment. Working in relief print, Jennie loves the hands-on process of cutting away areas from a flat piece of lino, applying ink to what remains and printing from this on to paper using her Victorian Albion letterpress.
